Educational Resource Acquisition Consortium (ERAC) is an association of BC public school districts working together on the evaluation and acquisition of software, textbook and video. Its mandate is to provide cost savings to districts using a shared services model. ERAC is funded by grants from the ministry and from membership fees collected from school districts and independent schools. The Executive Committee meets app. 3 times per year.
The Executive Committee is comprised of 3 representatives from BCASBO, 3 representatives from BC BCSSA and 1 non-voting member from the Ministry of Education.
BCASBO representatives on ERAC’s Executive Committee are:
• Rick Humphreys, SD38 (Richmond)
• Larry Paul, SD23 (Central Okanagan)
• Linda Brown, SD82 (Coast Mountain)
