Education Advisory Council |

The Education Advisory Council is created in the School Act, Section 171 and is established to advise the Minister of Education on policy matters respecting education including but not limited to curriculum and assessment, the teaching profession, system governance and finance. Meetings of the council are presided over by the Deputy Minister of Education. The President of the BCASBO is our representative on the Council and is joined by President's of other partner groups.
The council meets once a month.
